Lora Allen 

 Artistic Director

Lora Allen is a Philadelphia based artist. She is the artistic director of allendance, a Philadelphia based dance company whose work has been presented throughout the US and abroad. She is the founder and director of The Iron Factory, a space that works to support the challenging and experimental work of performance artists with residencies, live work spaces, on-going classes, and performance opportunities. She's lead residencies, workshops, lectures, and discussions at institutions such as Wilson College, Dickinson College, Charleston University, DeSales University, Kansas University, and Coventry University. Lora is a collaborator with Project Trans(m)it, a collaborative, transcontinental dance study led by four female choreographers investigating how to make dance across distance. Their recent journal "Project Trans(m)it : creating dance collaboratively via technology- a best practices overview was published in the Research in Dance Education Journal and was awarded the New Writers Prize. Lora was additionally the general manager for Leah Stein Dance Company and has performed with numerous independent artists in Philadelphia PA.

Ashley Lippolis

​Ashley Lippolis is a Philadelphia-based performing artist from Upstate NY with a background primarily in modern dance and theater. She is a member of allendance and helps take care of the company's home at The Iron Factory. She previously danced for Tori Lawrence + Co, performing in Lawrence's site-specific dance projects and films. Ashley received a BA in dance and psychology from Franklin & Marshall College, and currently works for the Association for Public Art (aPA).

Andrea Lanzetti

Andrea Lanzetti is a New York City based artist with a dance degree from DeSales University. She has had the opportunity to perform throughout the US and abroad working with companies such as B.S. Movement, BODYART, Marie-Christine Giordano Dance, Dante Brown|Warehouse Dance, Megan Bascom & Dancers, and allendance. Andrea holds a comprehensive Pilates certification through LindaFit and Center for Movement. Additionally, she is the co-founder of TheMarshallettiProject; an improvisational movement media company. Andrea is continually humbled and thankful for the artists she has been able to collaborate with throughout her as well to educate herself further and keep her body happy and well. Graduating in 2014 from Temple University, CrystalNicole is an active performer and choreographer in the Philadelphia dance community. Aside from establishing FRED | Dance Co. in 2016, CrystalNicole is also a company member of allendance and Birds on a Wire Dance Theatre. In 2014-2015 she performed with Invisible River and Somanaut Dance. Although her studies have focused mostly on Modern Dance, she is also interested in dance for film. CrystalNicole’s film “In Weeping,” was recently selected for screening at both Project Trans(m)it: An International Film Festival, and Philadelphia Film Society’s 2016 Showcase.
